Her products are grossly overpriced. I also don't like how they make it hard to see the oz of the bottle. You have to zoom into the photo to look at the tiny fine print on the bottle to see it.

I'm not convinced either. Since the Cecred launch, she has only shown that one video of her showing us getting her hair done with Cecred products, and recently on insta, one photo of beyonce with the caption "our CEO just used the sealing lotion" without even picturing the sealing lotion itself or her even with her holding it in her hand, nothing, it's just a photo of beyonce and we're supposed to take the poster's word for it that she used ONLY the sealing lotion in her hair. This is supposed to be her "lifelong dream" and yet we never see her promote it, she's hardly even the face of her own line. Cecred seems to be for bey fans and influencers (i'm still side eyeing her calling one of her bundles the Superfan Bundle...like, c'mon), and even then, there's still no real sense of who the audience is for this. And there's no real "science" behind her line and the formulation either. It's all so...meh, very smoke and mirrors tea.

I ordered the edge control and the brush. I’m here for all the hair care drops, but I like Pattern the most. When I’m not wearing braids I get my hair done at the salon every 2 weeks so I don’t really need to have a bunch of shampoos & conditioners at home. When I do wash my hair I like Pureology hydrating shampoo & conditioner. When I wear braids I like to use Pattern products to maintain the curls on my braids. I’m excited to try the edge control from Fenty hair & incorporate that with the rest of my products.

I don't see the surprise. This is totally in her wheelhouse. She has been in the beauty space for a minute, it is a natural progression. I would say the other people entering the beauty space are posing rather than her. I don't see the confusion. Amino acids act like proteins so it will give strengthening properties. Anything that can define your hair on a wash and go can do a twist out. I am a gel twist out girly. Creams does nothing for me.

But I literally got early access and bought every product from FENTY hair because I trust the brand. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, so I’m excited to try these out. It's sad people, including our own, don't believe that us black women can have long, healthy hair. My hair used to be really far down my back when I kept it safe from harsh hair styling with constant heat styling and chemicals through protective styling, taking hair vitamins, biotin, and using good quality all natural hair products. It's that simple. Treat your hair with respect and keep it protected, and it will grow. Try it if it fits your budget, and see for yourself if you like it or not. But definitely, as a community, we have to stop hating on and criticizing each other.

I impulsively purchased the whole Fenty Hair line through early access! It arrives Saturday and I'm trying to wait that long to wash my hair again. I usually don't get into celeb lines, but I trust Fenty products. I like just about everything by her I've ever tried.

Can i just say everyone has rituals . A ritual can be as simple as you sitting outside sunbathing reading a good book drinking tea its all just based on preference all religions have rituals as well. Also everything uses “magic” magic is a very stigmatized word cuz of religious people ignorance but yeah anyways love the video otherwise.

I believe that that’s the true length of her hair. She’s worn braids, wigs and weaves for years which allows her hair to flourish but I personally don’t believe that that was all of her hair ( without any extensions ) in that video. I’d never purchase her products nor any other celebrity endorsed products bc I already have a regimen that has worked for me for over 40 years.

People have choices. I personally am not a fan of straight hair, so I loved my natural hair and finally grew it to my waist after ditching relaxers (which I got as a kid). I cut it and now have long healthy locs. My daughter loves her 4c hair too. She never had a relaxer, never had extensions of any kind, never had braids (she doesn’t like the idea of sitting for that long) but her hair takes me only a few minutes in the morning and she is good to go for school. Work smarter not harder is something that should apply to natural hair. I learned what works for our hair and managing it is easy now.

Her hair is virgin. Natural hair is any hair that grows out of the scalp without extensions added now matter how it’s styled or processed.

Yeah, my daughter had a bunch of hair fall out with box braids. Really not a fan since. Her hair grows great but of course she doesn’t want to do it daily.
